Pastor Evelyn Hernandez is a faith-igniting warrior for truth, passionate about helping others discover God’s voice and walk confidently in their calling. She serves as Senior Pastor of Worshipwalk Church in Burbank, California, and as a member of the International Board of Directors of the Foursquare Church, a Trustee of the Western Ministry Institute, and a member of the Board of Directors of Oasis of Hollywood.
Known for her collaborative and multicultural leadership, Evelyn is committed to developing leaders, strengthening the local church, and equipping people to live out God’s purpose with courage, wisdom, and faith. She enjoys walking alongside men and women as they discern God’s voice, embrace their calling, and lead with authenticity through every season of life.
Married to her husband, Joe, for more than 28 years, Evelyn is the mother of three sons—two young adults and one teenager. Her journey through the different seasons of parenting has deepened her passion for helping women navigate family, faith, leadership, and life’s transitions while remaining rooted in Christ.
She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Pentecostal Leadership at Life Pacific University, further equipping herself to develop leaders, cultivate spiritual formation, and strengthen the next generation of Christ-centered leaders.
Through WIML, Evelyn found a community of women passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God—a place where her own leadership and spiritual life were strengthened and where she learned the value of “beginning again” by listening to the fresh work God is doing.
Today, as the Lead Mentor for WIML, Evelyn provides leadership for the mentoring initiative across both the English- and Spanish-speaking communities. She is passionate about cultivating a culture of intentional mentoring, equipping women through leadership development and spiritual formation, and walking alongside them as they discover their God-given purpose and faithfully live out their calling.
