Katie is a former educator with nearly two decades of leadership experience and over 25 years of service in the local church. She is the Director of Staff + Leadership Support for The Foursquare Church and is also a licensed California State Realtor®.  She and her husband, Tim, are co-founding members and pastors at The Gathering, a Foursquare Simple Church Network, where they have led and served since 2008. With a passion for effective followership, collaboration, and team mobilization, Katie values the development of support leadership and celebrates the unique + creative contributions of others. She is committed to disciple-making and has a heart for helping people move toward personal discovery and holistic flourishing. Katie holds a BA in Sociology/Social Work (with a minor in Theatre Arts) from George Fox University and a Master of Strategic Leadership from Life Pacific University. She and Tim have been married for 24 years. They have two young adult children, Madeline and Noah, and a special mention to their Jack Chi pup, Oliver. Katie and her family reside in Santa Clarita, California.
