Mike (my sweet hubby of 30 years) and I live in Kaneohe, on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. We share our home with two fur babies: Jack, the cool cat, and Maggie, the playful, always-hungry white lab mix. In my free time, I love to take long walks with Jesus or a friend in Haiku Valley.
After spending 20 years in the hotel industry as a pool concierge and on a catamaran (where Mike was met), a spiritual shift away from hospitality was strongly sensed and confirmed through much prayer. That's when my serving began in the women's ministry at Anchor Church in Kaneohe, and eventually, the role of women's pastor was accepted - very reluctantly. Haha. What I thought would be a temporary position has blossomed into a deeply fulfilling 16-year journey. My current role is the women's, prayer, and cares pastor, driven by a passion to help others encounter God's healing love and truth for them.
